If your AutoSlide Handwave Sensor is falsely activating and opening the door at unintended times, try the following steps:

• Ensure that the handwave isn't placed in an area getting direct exposure to sunlight (or an alternate extremely bright light source). This can set off the IR sensor in the handwave.
• Replace the batteries in the handwave sensor.
• Clean the handwave to ensure there isn't any dust or grime buildup.
• Reposition the handwave sensor; in rare occasions, electronics within a wall can interfere with the sensor in the handwave. Shifting the handwave to a new position can help eliminate this issue.
