Touch Button Signal Doesn't Reach SystemUpdated 3 months ago
If the touch button flashes red when activated, but doesn't activate the system,
- Ensure first that the touch button is paired to the unit; follow the instructions in this manual
- Ensure that the AutoSlide/AutoSwing/MultiDrive is in a mode where the touch buttons are enabled. For example, Green Mode will enable touch buttons to operate the door, while Blue Mode disables the touch buttons.
- Replace the batteries in the touch button; low batteries can result in a weak signal.
- Try activating the touch button with a firmer press; this can sometimes improve the strength of the signal in touch buttons with sensitivity issues. If this is the case, press and hold down the touch button until the red light starts flashing - then release the touch button. This will recalibrate the button's sensitivity.
- If the touch button has an external metal plate on the back, remove it by taking off the two screws holding it in place. This should improve the strength of the signal. Metal mounting screws may need to be used in turn to ground the sensor.
