Turn this fully counterclockwise to fully reduce the sensitivity. A low/dying battery can cause a microwave&apos;s sensitivity to increase. Be sure to use a 9V lithium battery.</li><li>Make sure to angle the sensor away from the door. The microwave has a conical field of detection - meaning that if the sensor is pointed straight down, it could detect the sliding panel&apos;s own motion while closing and re-open the door.</li><li>Remove any possible environmental factors. This would include anything that could be moving in the motion sensor&apos;s activation field - such as exterior tablecloths, leaves/plants, etc.</li></ol>
