AutoSlide Doesn't Power OnUpdated 11 days ago
If your AutoSlide system doesn't move the door and doesn't flash any lights on the front when powered on, it may be due to a damaged connection, faulty power pack, faulty motherboard, or external influence (such as a recent power shortage or power outage).
To begin, make sure the AutoSlide is unplugged and the red power switch to the side of the controller is set to off (O down). Unplug the AutoSlide's power pack from the AutoSlide. Open the door halfway manually.
Test your wall outlet with a separate device, such as a phone charger or lamp, to confirm it is providing power. Remove any third party extension cables if possible, or ensure they are heavy duty.
Plug the AutoSlide power pack into your wall outlet. If your power pack has a detachable outlet cable, unplug it and plug it back in. Look for a light on the power pack. If there is one, then this usually means the power pack is functioning properly to supply power to the AutoSlide system and does not need to be replaced. If there is no light, then it likely means the power pack is faulty.
Plug the power pack cable into the AutoSlide endcap, and check the connections inside the AutoSlide to ensure there is no visible damage to wires or cabling. Gently unplug the cable connected to the Power port of the AutoSlide's controller (this is the second port from the top on the left side of the controller, labelled "Power"). Inspect the cable and the port to ensure there is no visible damage, then fully plug the cable back in. Keeping your eyes on the AutoSlide's control panel, flip the red power switch on (I down).
If you still do not see any lights on the controller, gently wiggle the cable going into the Power port of the AutoSlide's controller. If you see any lights flicker on the motherboard, it means there is likely a damaged connection either in the Power port of the controller or the cable plugged into it, and both should be replaced. Otherwise, if there are no lights or signs of activity, the issue could be either the controller, power endcap, power cable or power pack. Contact AutoSlide for support.
