Door Closes Fully Then Pulses ClosedUpdated 11 days ago
If the door closes fully when powered on, then:
- For one second the mode lights flash and motor wheel shifts slightly (but does not slip/grind on track), then
- For one second the mode lights turn off and the motor wheel relaxes
- Repeats the above two steps endlessly until powered off
This indicates that the unit is not receiving enough power/current from the power pack. Common causes for this are:
- Performing an upgrade from a Standard AutoSlide to an Elite AutoSlide, but using the Standard power pack. The Elite power pack must be used.
- Using a regular third party extension cable to connect the power pack to a wall outlet. A heavy duty extension cable or our own extension cable must be used to avoid current loss.
- Faulty wall outlet.
- Hardwiring the AutoSlide directly into a low voltage line without supplying enough current. Make sure to measure your output current to confirm it matches the output current rated on the AutoSlide's power pack. Use thick enough gauge wire to avoid current loss.
If none of the above apply to you, the issue is likely a faulty AutoSlide power supply and it will need to be replaced.
