Panel Tilts During ProgrammingUpdated 10 days ago
If, when programming human, pet, or stacker opening width, the door opens fully then tilts (with the top edge of the sliding panel opening further than the bottom edge of the sliding panel), it can cause significant calibration issues. This most commonly happens on units mounted at the top of doors that only have a doorstop at the bottom. More rarely, it can occur with units mounted at the bottom on doors that only have a doorstop at the top.
After programming, test the system:
- If the human opening width was programmed, press the Inside Sensor button.
- If the Stacker opening width was programmed, put the unit out of Blue Mode, let the door close and settle, then put the unit back into Blue Mode.
- If the Pet opening width was programmed, first ensure the unit is in Pet Mode then press the Pet Sensor button.
When the door opens, check to see if it reaches the actual maximum opening position and physically hits the door stop.
- If it does, reprogramming the opening width will be required. When reprogramming, brace the sliding panel with your hand or foot as needed to keep the panel from tilting when it reaches the maximum open position.
- If it does not, the unit should be good to continue operation without reprogramming.
