Door Closes Then Immediately Opens When Powered OnUpdated 10 days ago

If the door closes when powered on, settles, then immediately opens and stays open, it can indicate that a sensor or signal interference is constantly activating the AutoSlide. It could also indicate that the AutoSlide defaulted into Blue Mode (this applies to pre-2019 AutoSlides only).

After the door opens and stays open, do you see a solid blue mode light on the front of the AutoSlide?

• If yes, change the mode of the system by pressing the grey button with the blue asterisk on the front of the control panel, or by using the AutoSlide 4-button remote or AutoSlide app. The door should now close.
• If not, look at the three sensor inputs on the front right side of the AutoSlide control panel. These should be labelled Inside Sensor, Outside Sensor, and Pet Sensor. Do any of them have a solid, flashing, or flickering green light? If yes, a sensor or interference may be triggering the system to stay open. Please refer to this article.
