When Powered On Door Doesn't Move and Lights FlashUpdated 2 days ago

If, when the system is powered on, the door remains stationary but the mode lights flash, this can indicate a communication issue between the board and motor.

Begin by powering the system off and moving the door partially open. If the AutoSlide is still able to close the door fully, please refer to this article. Otherwise, if the door stays still, proceed with the below instructions.

  1. Power off the system.
  2. Make sure all DIP switches are off, especially DIP switch #3. If DIP switch #3 was on, power the system back on to check if the issue is now resolved. Otherwise, proceed.
  3. Gently unplug the motor cable plugged into the Motor port of the AutoSlide control panel (this is the top port on the left). Examine the cable for any loose connections or physical damage. Gently push each wire into the plug connector to ensure none are loose. Examine the cable on the other side. Make sure none of the wires going from the cable into the motor are loose.
  4. Examine the pins of the Motor port on the controller. Make sure none of them are excessively bent or broken off.
  5. If possible, open the endcap of the motor and check that all wires from the motor cable are connected. Note that this step is not easily accessible and can be skipped.
  6. Plug the motor cable back into the Motor port of the AutoSlide control panel, then power the system back on with the door halfway open.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, please contact AutoSlide support.
