Door Doesn't Move When ProgrammingUpdated 11 days ago

Begin by:

  1. powering the system off,
  2. sliding your door halfway open, and
  3. powering the system back on.

Does the door immediately close?

  • If it doesn't, see here.
  • If it does, proceed below.

Once the door is closed and settles into a mode, put the system into Green Mode, Red Mode, or Pet Mode to program the human opening width or pet opening width. Put the system into Blue Mode to program the stacker opening width. Let the system settle after changing modes.

Proceed to attempt programming. If programming the human opening width or stacker opening width, flip DIP switch #1 (for Direction/Learn) back and forth. If programming the pet opening width, flip DIP switch #3 (for Pet Learn) ON and OFF.

  • If the door starts to move with all lights flashing, it indicates the system has begun programming successfully.
  • If the door does not move and the lights do not flash or show any change, it indicates an issue with the DIP switch. Make sure the correct DIP switch is being flipped, and that it is being fully flipped on or off. The board may need to be replaced.
  • If the door does not move but the lights flash for a brief time before settling, proceed here.
  • If the door does not move but the lights flash continuously until the system is powered off, proceed here.
